Moco Loco spotted the game shells and garden gnomes from Vitamin which just launched a lifestyle product line. The purpose? To shelter and hide those Playstation controllers you leave laying around all over the place.

Enough Pink Yet? No? September 22, 2006
Ok, so you haven’t had enough of the fabulously pink gadgets yet?
Sony is coming out with a pink colored PSP for the female crowd. Divas, listen up, they are pushing pink! This looks more cotton-candy colored than some of the other items we’ve reviewed but I think I still like it.
Of course, they went a step further and invited Pink, the singer, to donate exclusive video content and a new and unreleased song to be included on the handhelds. Nice move, Sony!
It looks to only come out in the UK and the date is set for October 27th with a price of £169.99. I don’t think you’ll be limited too much if you can wait…I’m sure e-bay will have them available soon after for those of us in America. I would definitely keep a look out before purchasing the drab colors offered here now.
Thanks, ShinyShiny, for the information!
PS2 With ‘Pretty-in-Pink’ Look September 22, 2006
Yes, that’s right, girls, Playstation has come out with a new and ever-so-pink Playstation 2 gaming console. Expected to be released this November, the pink console will include fancy pink controllers and a delicate pink memory card.
Tell me this won’t keep those game-addicted boys off your system! Maybe not, but at least you can claim it as your own and they probably will not argue. It seems this version is set to include the game ‘Singstar Pop‘ which doesn’t seem as fitting as the color, but at least they are trying to please the ladies of the gaming world for once!
The pink Playstation is just one of the many new gadgets that companies have done some ‘forward-thinking’ on in trying to lure those of us that are addicted to gadgets, and happen to be female, to buy. I don’t know about you but I think pink sells.
DS Lite Cases for Girls August 30, 2006
Finally a case that screams "I’m a Girl" for your Nintendo DS Lite. Not that we need one, as our long hair and good looks should suffice, but this case should accentuate our rather wide hips or perhaps hide them. The case is pretty bulky and straps around the waist–or at least that’s how they show it on this picture. You can get your girly girl case in white/gold or pink/black color schemes for about $21 over at Brando.com, if you dare. [via Shiny Shiny]
Mario Strikes Again August 11, 2006
Brando, a Hong Kong based company which delivers toys, gifts and accessories world wide is now
offering little Nintendo Family characters that can walk and run. All characters can be controlled using the classic Nintendo Family Controller 2. Brando is offering Fire Mario and Toad for $16.90 each or you can order a set which includes both characters for $30.00. Apart from walking and running, the characters can turn left and right.
Virtual Boyfriend or Girlfriend August 10, 2006
For less than the price of
dinner and a movie you can now buy yourself a boyfriend or girlfriend! Ok, this
has got to be the coolest thing for Techie Divas! We love technology, so why
not get a virtual boyfriend? It’s possible with this Tamagotchi-like Virtual
Girlfriend/Boyfriend.
Each one has eight
different mates for each gender. Each character has its own personality, so you
can go through several relationships with eight different boyfriends! The
benefits include no risk of pregnancy or diseases, but on the other hand you
can still get your heart broken. The relationship usuals like gifts, dinner and
other courting rituals still apply!
Now instead of looking at
this from a negative point of view (digital
lovers?) we can look at it from the bright side: this can be a fantastic
educational tool to let us practice our relationship skills. Why not get one
for your ex boyfriend? She will teach him buying flowers is not optional! Make a mistake… bye bye
virtual lover. While we can sometimes forgive someone for relatively
unforgivable mistakes, this ruthless little gadget is not forgiving and will
punish the mistake with a prompt virtual dumping ritual.
Monopoly upgrades July 25, 2006
We all remember playing Monopoly as kids. Sometimes we would even pretend the money was real. Those days are going to change. Parker Brothers and VISA are developing fake credit cards to use with newer versions of Monopoly. In order to add or subtract money from the cards, the newer games will be equipped with a calculator that will be able to read and write to the fake cards. Parker Brothers says that they are upgrading to move with the times. In some surveys, 70% of adults use cash less than they did ten years ago. So I guess the times are changing. With change, there is always a price. The new version of the game will cost about twice as much as the classic version. If you like the classic version, better get one now before they are phased out completely.
Self-Destruct Button USB Hub July 19, 2006
Have you ever had one of those days that made you want to destroy something? What if you had a self destruct button by your side? This is a standard four port USB except for the fact that it is disguised as a Self Destruct terminal. The hub has two switches, a key, and a protected self-destruct button! When you hit the self destruct button, an audio file is played on your computer that says “KILL, KILL, KILL.” Of course someone will eventually come out with some sort of fix to make it do more than that, but it will have to wait for someone clever to figure it out. This will run you about $62 and will be available at the end of July.

Cotton DS Lite Covers July 7, 2006
I love my DS Lite. I have only had it for a while and it is already getting a little grubby. It must be from all the playing. If you are looking for a classy cover to protect your Lite between uses, here is a cotton cover from Gametech. These hand-stitched cotton covers are made specifically for the DS Lite and use the finest hand-dyed cotton from the Nagano prefecture. The covers also have an elastic strap to keep everything closed. Currently these are only available in Japan, but I am sure eventually you will be able to import these bad boys. If you want to see more designs, head over to Game Watch and check them out.
